Other Says:-
An Internet forum, or message board, is an online discussion site where people can hold conversations in the form of posted messages. They differ from chat rooms in that messages are at least temporarily archived. Also, depending on the access level of a user and/or the forum set-up, a posted message might need to be approved by a moderator before it becomes visible.
A forum is hierarchical or tree-like in structure: a forum can contain a number of subforums, each of which may have several topics. Within a forum's topic, each new discussion started is called a thread, and can be replied to by as many people as wish to.
Depending on the forum set-up, users can be anonymous or have to register with the forum and then subsequently log in in order to post messages. Usually you do not have to log in to read existing messages.
Forum Posting Guidelines
Note, questions about this board, and suggested improvements, can be posted to the About This Board forum. Further helpful information can be obtained by searching the MrExcel FAQ's.
Tip 1: Make sure you are posting to the correct forum.
Tip 2:Include a meaningful title that is specific to your question.
Good: "M S Excel VBA Type Mismatch Error"
Not so good: "Help needed!"
Not so good: "Help needed!"
Tip 3: State your question clearly, describing the problem and where possible the desired result. Read your question back to yourself before hitting ‘Submit’.
Tip 4: Use the forum standard font and font size, and do not type the entire message in upper or lower case, use proper case.
Tip 5: Include a sample where possible, preferably using the MrExcel HTML Maker (see post #2). Your sample should include the inputs and an example of the desired output.
Tip 6:Always surround your code with code tags. E.g.
code goes here
(see post #3). See the list of BB codes available.
Tip 7: State which version of Excel and Windows that you are using.
Tip 8: If you are looking for help with an error received, what is the exact error description and what triggers the error (for VBA state which line triggers the error).
Tip 9: Use tags.
Tip 10: Thank members that help you.
