Either last Wednesday or Tuesday night, October 16th or October 17th,
Google appeared to have pushed out another Panda update, if this works
out to be true this would be Panda update 21.
An ongoing thread within webmaster world, a forum, has a conversion
within it about this possible new Google Panda Update, starting October
17th. One of the people participating within this conversation stated
the following:
“My spidey sense tells me something rolled through at some point yesterday(16th).”
Along with this one of the people involved in this thread sent some
charts which showed a Panda recovery on several of the websites that he
owned. He actually sent me several, all seeming to show exactly the same
pattern, this again leads to a possible new panda update. All of the
graphs which were shown had very little traffic to begin with but then
began to jump up around the dates of October 16/17th.
The only monitoring service out there that is currently showing any
sort of major change around the dates previously discussed is
SERPmetrics, however, MOZcast and SERPS.com are not showing any major
changes whatsoever. September 27th was the last time that there was a
panda update, version #20, so when you think time-wise, it is very
possible that there was an update carried out.
Obviously Google will be contacted about these possible Panda updates and I will get back to you when anything is confirmed.
